Practice Nurse – Part Time Covering Maternity Leave

Part Time Practice nurse required for busy established Surgery in Cavan town. Starting 14/09/2026 for 7-8 months to cover maternity leave. 16 hours per week.
Experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
Job Description
· Phlebotomy, urinalysis, informing patients of test results.
· Carrying out ECG’s and 24-hour ABPM and downloading results
· Dressing of wounds, removal of stitches and assistance in ear syringing
· Childhood and adult vaccinations
· 2-week baby checks, periodic assessment of ages 2 and 5
· Cervical Screening, women’s health
· Assistance with Chronic Disease Management
