About Us
LBK Solutions is a Safe Electric registered electrical and civils contractor based in Mallow, Co. Cork, with offices in Limerick and Tipperary. We specialise in EV charging infrastructure, public lighting and sports floodlighting, and we're a delivery partner on the national ZEVI Sports Club EV charging programme — installing DC fast chargers at GAA, soccer, rugby and golf clubs across Munster.
We're a small, tight-knit team that's growing fast, with a full order book through to the end of the year. This is a role where you'll see a job through from first fix to final cert — no getting lost in a big crew.
The Role
You'll be the electrician on our EV charging installation crews, working across club and commercial sites throughout Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare, Tipperary and Waterford. Day to day you'll be:
- Installing and terminating LV supplies, distribution boards and DC fast chargers
- Testing, commissioning and certifying installations to I.S. 10101, including Safe Electric certification
- Working alongside our civils crews on ducting, cabling and site works
- Liaising with ESB Networks on connections and metering
- Occasional public lighting and sports floodlighting works
What We're Looking For
- Fully qualified electrician (National Craft Certificate or equivalent)
- Solid experience in testing, verification and certification — you'll be signing off installations
- Full clean driving licence (essential — sites are spread across Munster)
- Safe Pass and manual handling
- Someone reliable who can run their end of a job without being minded
Bonus (not essential — we'll train the right person):
- Experience with EV charger installation or commissioning
- QC (Qualified Certifier) status with Safe Electric
- Public lighting or street works experience
