This isn't a traditional reception role.

What You'll DoDeliver an Outstanding Patient Experience
You will be the first and last person our patients interact with each day.
Your role will include:
- Welcoming every patient with warmth, professionalism and confidence.
- Managing patient arrivals and departures efficiently.
- Answering telephone calls professionally and confidently.
- Responding to patient enquiries via phone and email.
- Booking, rescheduling and managing appointments.
- Processing payments accurately.
- Ensuring every patient leaves having had an excellent experience.
Reception & Administration
- Manage clinician diaries and appointment schedules.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Confirm appointments and reduce missed appointments.
- Assist with day-to-day clinic administration.
- Support the management team with administrative tasks.
- Keep reception systems organised and up to date.
Clinic Operations
You'll play a key role in ensuring the clinic operates smoothly every afternoon.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing treatment rooms between patients.
- Ensuring rooms are clean, organised and fully stocked.
- Maintaining a welcoming and professional reception area.
- Keeping waiting areas, kitchen and staff areas tidy.
- Restocking consumables and clinic supplies.
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Preparing resources and equipment for clinicians.
- Completing daily operational checklists.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Taking ownership of maintaining exceptionally high standards throughout the clinic.
Supporting Our Clinical Team
- Help clinicians stay on schedule.
- Prepare treatment rooms throughout the day.
- Support clinic flow during busy periods.
- Ensure therapists have everything they need to deliver outstanding patient care.
- Work collaboratively with the wider SPARC team.

Essential Requirements
- Excellent spoken and written English with the confidence to communicate professionally with patients, colleagues and healthcare professionals.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational ability.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using computers, email and appointment scheduling software.
- Professional presentation.
- Reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
- Available to work Tuesday-Friday, 2:00pm-6:00pm.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
Desirable Experience
- Reception or administration experience.
- Experience within physiotherapy, healthcare, medical, dental or allied health.
- Experience in hospitality or another premium customer service environment.
- Familiarity with appointment booking systems.
