We're recruiting 11 Food Service Assistants to support our catering operations across University of Galway locations. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, you'll play an important role in delivering excellent customer service to students, staff and visitors in a vibrant campus environment.

What you'll do:

Deliver friendly and welcoming service to colleagues, clients and students

Assist with food preparation, service setup and replenishment

Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service

Keep dining and service areas clean, tidy and well organised
-
Support the wider catering team during busy service periods

Follow food safety, allergen, hygiene and health & safety procedures

Help create a positive dining experience for all customers
What you'll bring:

Previous hospitality, retail or food service experience is beneficial but not essential

A positive attitude and strong customer service skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

A commitment to cleanliness and food safety standards
-
Reliability, flexibility and a willingness to learn

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
About the roles:
We have a range of opportunities available across our University of Galway catering locations:

Full Time positions (up to 37.5 hours per week)
-
Part Time positions available
-
Fixed Term contracts running from September to April and September to December
-
Monday to Friday working patterns

Campus-based locations across North and South Campus
