Job Description:**
*****This job is for 2 hours per day from 12.00-2.00pm Monday-Friday*****
We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic Childcare Practitioners to join our medium sized service with 4 rooms catering for 39 children. As a Childcare Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to young children in our pre school. If you are passionate about working with children and have a minimum Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Care, we encourage you to apply
Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in your care.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Observe and assess children's development and progress, maintaining accurate records as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the pre school and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare facilities.
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and well-being.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Care or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a childcare setting preferred but not essential.
- Genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable.
