Bakery Production Assistant (Part-Time)

Sunstreet Foods Ltd is an artisan wholesale bakery based in Tuam, supplying handcrafted pastries, cakes and baked goods to cafés, restaurants and businesses across the west of Ireland. We pride ourselves on producing exceptional products and are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment to join our growing team.
About the role
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll work alongside a small, friendly team helping to produce and prepare our range of artisan baked goods.
Duties include:
- Baking and finishing pastries and baked goods
- Preparing and packing wholesale orders
- General bakery production and food preparation
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Working as part of a small team to ensure orders are completed on time
- Assisting with other bakery tasks as required
We're looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
- Works well as part of a team
- Takes pride in producing high-quality food
- Can work efficiently in a busy environment
- Bakery or food production experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right person.
Hours
- Part-time permanent position (approximately 20–30 hours per week)
- Early morning availability required (typically starting between 4:00–5:00 am)
- Opportunity for additional hours as the business grows
Pay
€15.00–€17.00 per hour depending on experience.
