About the Farm
We are a progressive family-run dairy farm located in Waterford. We milk approximately 200 cows using modern farming practices and are seeking a reliable and motivated Dairy Farm Assistant to join our team.
Main Duties
- Milking cows.
- Animal health and welfare.
- Calf rearing.
- Feeding livestock
- Fencing and general farm maintenance.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Any other farm duties appropriate to the role.
Essential Requirements
- Previous dairy farming experience.
- Good understanding of livestock handling and welfare.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good level of spoken and written English.
- Full driving licence preferred but not essential.
