Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Window Fitter to join our team in Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows, doors, and conservatories in residential and commercial properties. You will ensure all installations are completed to a high standard, meeting both safety regulations and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove old windows, doors, and frames safely without damaging the surrounding structure.
- Measure, fit, and install new UPVC, aluminium, or timber windows and doors.
- Apply weatherproofing, sealants, and insulation to ensure energy efficiency and airtight finishes.
- Fix and adjust hardware, including handles, locks, hinges, and opening mechanisms.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, layout plans, and installation specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering strictly to health and safety guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Galway, County Galway: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
