City Pharmacy is an independent, fully Irish-owned pharmacy committed to providing exceptional healthcare and outstanding customer service. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team.
We are open to both full-time and part-time applications, depending on the experience and suitability of the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and prepare prescriptions, with a particular focus on nursing home patients.
- Liaise with nursing home staff to confirm and clarify medication requirements.
- Maintain accurate patient and medication records in compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service, particularly within the nursing home sector.
- Ensure effective prescription control and stock management procedures.
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy and support the wider team as required.
Skills And Experience
- Qualified Pharmacy Technician.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a pharmacy environment, with strong prescription processing experience.
- Experience using the MPS McLernons pharmacy management system is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
