Essential Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, you must:
- Be a 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Motor Vehicle Technician.
- Be registered on the SOLAS Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship Programme and have successfully completed Phase 1 and Phase 2 as a minimum.
- Hold a full, clean Irish or EU driving licence.
- Have full eligibility to work in Ireland on a full-time basis.
- Be available to work on-site at our Ballymount dealership.
About the Role
Pilsen Auto ŠKODA, Ireland's flagship ŠKODA dealership, is looking to grow its award-winning aftersales team by recruiting a motivated and enthusiastic 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Motor Vehicle Technician.
This is an excellent opportunity to continue your apprenticeship with one of Ireland's leading automotive retailers, working alongside experienced technicians in a modern workshop while receiving manufacturer training and ongoing support throughout your apprenticeship.
We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude, and enjoys working as part of a professional team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in servicing, maintaining and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards.
- Accurately record daily job clockings.
- Complete workshop documentation, including job cards, PDI inspections and service reports, in line with ŠKODA warranty and dealership procedures.
- Ensure customer vehicles are completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
- Learn and apply diagnostic techniques under the guidance of qualified technicians.
- Seek guidance from senior technicians and workshop supervisors where required.
- Develop your technical knowledge through manufacturer training and practical experience.
- Maintain high standards of workshop housekeeping and care of tools and equipment.
- Follow all dealership health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
