About the Role
- Location: Dublin, Ireland
- Working Model: Hybrid (3 days per week in office, 2 days remote)
- Reporting To: Marketing Manager
- Salary: €30,000 annually
Paperblanks is looking for a proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our global Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for digital marketing, strong communication skills, and a talent for keeping projects organized and moving forward.
Based in our Dublin office and reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role will support a variety of key marketing activities, including email marketing campaigns, print catalogue production, digital content coordination, and cross-functional marketing projects.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing creativity with organization – someone who is equally comfortable coordinating timelines, writing engaging marketing copy, working with digital tools, and collaborating with colleagues across different departments.
As a central support role within the Marketing team, the successful candidate will need to be a confident communicator and proactive problem solver who enjoys taking ownership and helping bring projects successfully across the finish line.
Key Responsibilities
Email Marketing & Digital Support
- Support the creation, coordination, and deployment of email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
- Build and schedule campaigns using Mailchimp, ensuring content accuracy, strong presentation, and timely delivery.
- Coordinate newsletter assets, including copy, imagery, links, product information, and approvals.
- Assist with digital advertising and campaign content preparation.
- Support ongoing improvements to email marketing performance, organization, and processes.
Catalogue & Project Coordination
- Coordinate seasonal catalogue projects, helping ensure timelines, content, assets, and approvals stay on track.
- Gather and organize product information, copy, translations, pricing, imagery, and supporting materials from internal teams.
- Maintain project schedules, trackers, and documentation.
- Follow up proactively with stakeholders across departments to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Support proofing, quality control, and final production processes.
Marketing Operations & Communications Support
- Assist with day-to-day marketing coordination and administrative tasks.
- Maintain organized digital files, marketing assets, and shared resources.
- Support campaign planning, reporting, presentations, and internal communications.
- Assist with social media, ecommerce, B2B marketing, PR, and other marketing initiatives as required.
- Collaborate with teams across the business including Marketing, Ecommerce, Graphics, Sales, Licensing, and Product Development.

They will be comfortable asking questions, identifying next steps, and helping move projects forward in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires someone who enjoys balancing creativity with organization – bringing both an interest in marketing and the practical coordination skills needed to successfully execute campaigns, communications, and operational projects.
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a marketing, digital marketing, communications, or coordination role.
- Experience creating and managing email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Confident communicator who is comfortable coordinating with colleagues across different teams and levels of the business.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Additional Assets
Experience or familiarity with any of the following would be considered an advantage:
- Shopify ecommerce platforms
- Sprout Social social media management platform
- Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
- Digital advertising (Google, Amazon, Meta, etc)
- Additional language skills, particularly German, Italian, or Spanish
Eligibility & Work Authorization
This position is based in Dublin, Ireland, and applicants must be legally permitted to work in Ireland. The role requires a hybrid work arrangement, with at least three days per week in the office.
