The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall HR Management of Communicare Healthcare’s operations in line with our corporate mission and strategic objectives.

This key position will require taking the lead on all site-based HR issues and in managing generalist responsibilities of all employee relations, training and development, performance management, compliance and health and safety.
Responsibilities
To successfully manage and execute the company HR function and all employee relations activity;
- Comprehensive understanding of HR employment law and developments, with the proficiency to adapt changes to fit organisational requirements
- Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulative requirements
- Provide strategic HR direction and implementation to the board and senior management
- Be responsible for key KPI reporting and metrics
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for the business, ensuring that the highest calibre staff are recruited to meet organisational service needs
- Manage the training and development function through evaluation of CPD and training needs across the organisation
The successful candidate will also act as the point of contact for managers and other personnel to provide advice and support on all employee relations issues;
- To manage, guide and support managers with all matters in regard, to employee relations ensuring compliance within legislation and regulative environment
- Liaising with external bodies to monitor trends in employment practices and advising on appropriate proactive action
- Developing, improving, and implementing policies in conjunction with legislation and company changes
- Managing disciplinary and welfare cases, grievance, and coaching managers where appropriate
- Develop and implement programs to effectively communicate the company’s key messages to employees
- Deliver training sessions to managers on HR policies, procedures and people management practices

Requirements
- Educated to degree level, or equivalent, with 5-10 years successful track record in a senior HR Management role
- Previous, recent experience in a senior HR role within a Healthcare setting is preferable
- Proven track record as a strategic partner within a leadership/senior management team
- Proven experience managing a broad range of employee relations and industrial relations cases independently, including disciplinary, grievance and investigations
- Strong working knowledge of Irish employment legislation and its practical application in the workplace
- Demonstrated ability to advise, influence and challenge managers in a confident and professional manner
- Full Drivers license as travel will be expected as part of the role
