Croghan Fairy Bush CLG is seeking a dedicated and
enthusiastic AIM SUPPORT WORKER to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
· Work with children in the group setting who may require an Individual
Care Plan Format; providing targeted work to address specific assessed
needs.
· Work as part of the ECCE team, collaborating with team members in planning and implementing a stimulating programme of activities focussing on
children’s strengths and supporting their individual growth and
development.
· To have responsibility for the development and delivery of a
quality Early Learning for all children within the room.
· Deal with issues as they arise in relation to the wellbeing of
children.
· Involve families by sharing information about child development
and working alongside parents/guardians to support children’s specific needs.
· Form partnerships with other staff and outside support agencies / professionals to support children for their specific needs.
· Participate in cleaning duties as required.
· Attend staff meetings and participate in planning as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
● Minimum Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education (or equivalent); Level 6 or above desirable.
● Demonstrated understanding of Síolta and Aistear frameworks.
● Completed Tusla’s “Children First” e-learning and Mandated Person training.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Experience working in an early years setting is highly desirable.
