Stores / Warehouse Operative
Location: Navan, Co. Meath
Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week)
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and organised Stores / Warehouse Operative to join our team in Navan. This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately while maintaining stock levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
- Receive and check incoming deliveries.
- Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Carry out goods inwards and goods outwards activities.
- Perform routine cycle counts and assist with stock takes.
- Update stock movements using the company ERP system.
- Operate a forklift safely (where required).
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse.
- Work closely with production and other departments to ensure materials are available when needed.
About You
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment.
- A valid forklift licence.
- Experience using an ERP or stock management system.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative.
Desirable
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Full clean driving licence.
