Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A recognised Motor Vehicle Technician qualification, including completion of the SOLAS Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship Programme (all on and off-the-job phases).
- A full, clean Irish or EU driving licence.
- Full eligibility to work in Ireland/EU on a full-time basis.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Availability to work on-site at our Ballymount dealership.
About the Role
Pilsen Auto ŠKODA, Ireland's flagship ŠKODA dealership, is expanding its aftersales team and is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair vehicles to the highest standards, following manufacturer specifications and guidelines.
- Accurately record all labour through daily job clockings.
- Complete all workshop documentation, including job cards, PDI inspections and service reports, in line with ŠKODA warranty and dealership requirements.
- Ensure customer vehicles are completed and ready for collection at the agreed time.
- Use diagnostic equipment and road test vehicles where required to verify the quality of repairs.
- Liaise with the Service and Parts Departments regarding additional work, parts requirements and repair updates.
- Seek guidance from colleagues and supervisors on complex technical issues when required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ŠKODA products, systems and manufacturer service procedures.
- Maintain excellent workshop housekeeping standards, including the care and correct use of tools and equipment.
- Follow all dealership health and safety procedures and safe working practices at all times.

- A fully qualified Motor Vehicle Technician with relevant industry experience.

Pay: €35,000.00-€45,000.00 per year
