The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Audio Visual Installation Engineer to join our growing team in Dublin. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the professional installation, configuration, and commissioning of AV systems at client sites across Ireland. You will work on exciting and varied projects — from corporate boardrooms and educational facilities to large-scale event spaces and government buildings.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and commission a wide range of AV equipment including displays, projectors, video walls, conferencing systems, audio systems, and control systems
Carry out structured cabling, rack building, and cable management to a professional standard
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and project documentation on-site
Collaborate with project managers, system designers, and clients to ensure installations are delivered on time and to specification
Conduct system testing, fault diagnosis, and quality assurance checks post-installation
Provide on-site client training and handover of installed systems
Maintain accurate records of work completed, including site documentation and as-built drawings
Adhere to health & safety regulations and company policies at all times
Provide technical support and occasional field service support as required
Essential Requirements
Proven experience in AV installation, ideally within a commercial or enterprise environment
Hands-on knowledge of AV equipment from leading manufacturers such as Crestron, Extron, Barco, Cisco, Poly, Shure, or similar
Proficiency in structured cabling, including HDMI, HDBaseT, Cat6, and fiber
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach
Full, clean Irish/EU driving license
Eligibility to work in Ireland
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
Manufacturer certifications (e.g. Crestron, Extron, Dante, Cisco Collaboration)
Experience with video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms
Familiarity with IP networking in an AV context
Safe Pass and/or Manual Handling certification
Previous experience working with similar AV integrator
