We are currently looking for a Night Porter to join our team.
During the night shift you play a key role in ensuring the hotel runs smoothly while the rest of the world sleeps. From welcoming late-night travellers arriving through Shannon Airport to assisting early morning departures, you will help ensure our guests feel safe, comfortable and well looked after at all times.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working independently, taking responsibility and ensuring everything is prepared for the day ahead.
Key Responsibilities

Welcome late arriving guests and assist early morning departures

Support reception with late-night check-ins, check-outs and guest enquiries

Ensure the safety and security of the hotel through regular patrols and checks

Assist with night audit reporting and maintain accurate records

Ensure the hotel is prepared for the following day’s operations
Additional Duties

Conduct fire safety walks and report any incidents or concerns

Maintain clean and presentable public areas overnight

Assist with light housekeeping support when required

Prepare meeting and function rooms for the following day

About The Role
We are seeking an attentive, reliable, and proactive individual to join our night team. While previous hospitality or customer service experience is welcome, it is not essential, as we provide comprehensive training. We value a friendly and professional approach to guest service, strong communication, problem-solving skills, basic computer proficiency, and an exceptional eye for detail. This role is ideal for those who appreciate a calm, focused environment and are ready to take full ownership of ensuring our hotel runs flawlessly overnight.
Working Hours:
This night shift position operates seven nights a week. We offer flexible scheduling with both full-time and part-time roles, typically 2 to 5 shifts per week, depending on your availability.

Salary
Starting from €15.25 per hour
