The Role.
GMC Utilities Group is seeking a motivated and organised Administrator to join our Meter Reading Contract team based in Tuam. Reporting directly to the Contract Manager, the successful candidate will provide essential administrative support to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting operational teams.
Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Provide administrative support to the Meter Reading Contract team.

Maintain accurate records and update company systems.
-
Process documentation and ensure records are completed accurately and on time.

Liaise with field operatives, supervisors and management regarding daily activities.

Prepare reports, spreadsheets and other documentation as required.

Respond to telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner.

Schedule meetings and assist with diary management where required.

Support the onboarding and administration of new employees.

Ensure all documentation is filed and maintained in accordance with company procedures.

Assist with any other administrative duties required to support the successful delivery of the contract.
The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:

Previous experience in an administrative role.
-
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
-
Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
-
Experience within utilities, construction or engineering would be an advantage but is not essential.
