We are currently seeking a Full-Time Delivery Driver to join our busy Central Distribution Warehouse in Milltown, Co. Galway. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable and customer-focused individual to become part of a growing team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Operating a 3-tonne low-platform box van to deliver electrical appliances and furniture to customers throughout Connacht and surrounding areas. Occasional deliveries outside the region may be required.
- Loading and securing goods for daily delivery routes.
- Delivering products safely, efficiently, and in a professional manner.
- Carrying out basic installation or assembly of products in customers' homes where required.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and general upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
- Adhering to all company Health & Safety policies and safe working practices.
- Maintaining regular communication with the warehouse team regarding delivery schedules and route updates.
- Providing a high standard of customer service, representing N17 Superstores professionally at all times.
Desirable
- Previous delivery driving experience.
- Experience in furniture assembly or appliance installation.
Essential Requirements
- Full clean Category B driving licence, held for a minimum of three years.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.
- The role involves the regular lifting, moving, and delivery of furniture and electrical appliances. Candidates should be physically capable of carrying out these duties safely and in accordance with manual handling procedures.
