We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Technician to join our busy BMW Motor Dealership. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will support the dealership's accounting function while also assisting with sales administration activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accounting records, ledgers, journals and reconciliations.
- Assist with preparation of management accounts, budgets, cash flow forecasts and financial reports.
- Process purchase invoices, supplier payments and customer receipts.
- Monitor debtor and creditor accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Reconcile bank accounts and vehicle stock funding accounts.
- Produce financial information and reports for management.
- Ensure invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time.
- Support month-end and year-end accounting procedures.
- Prepare documentation for auditors and external accountants.
- Process vehicle sales invoices and maintain accurate sales records.
- Liaise with customers, finance providers, manufacturers and suppliers regarding financial and sales administration matters.
- Maintain compliance with dealership and manufacturer procedures.
Requirements
- Accounting Technician qualification (ATI) or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accounting or finance administration role.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
