Kingsbridge Private Hospital Sligo are currently recruiting additional Front of House and Patient Services Administrator.
Job Title: Front of House and Patient Services Administrator

Contract: Full time Permanent
Location: Kingsbridge Private Hospital Sligo
Hours: 37.5 per week. Monday–Sunday on a rotational basis, shifts will include early mornings (from 0630), occasional evenings (to 1900) and weekends.

Job Summary:
The Front of House & Patient Services Administrator plays a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience throughout every stage of the patient journey.
This is a multi-skilled administrative position designed to provide flexible support across the Ambulatory Care Centre, including Front of House, Outpatient Bookings, Procedure Scheduling, Admissions, Patient Enquiries, and General Administration.
Working within a cross-functional team, the postholder will rotate across different administrative functions depending on operational demand, ensuring patients receive a seamless, efficient and compassionate service from their first contact through to discharge and follow-up care.
The successful candidate will be adaptable, organised and patient-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Skilled Working
The Front of House & Patient Services Administrator will be trained and assessed as competent across multiple administrative functions within the Ambulatory Care Centre. This includes Front of House, Patient Bookings, Procedure Scheduling, Admissions, Patient Services and other administrative duties as required. The postholder will rotate between these functions to meet service demands, support colleagues and ensure continuity of patient care.
Front of House
· Welcome patients, visitors and consultants in a professional and friendly manner.
· Register patients on arrival.
· Complete admissions and discharge administration.
· Process payments and issue receipts.
· Verify insurance and funding details.
· Direct patients appropriately throughout the hospital.
· Manage patient waiting areas and keep patients updated regarding delays.
Appointment Booking
· Book outpatient consultations across multiple specialties.
· Schedule procedures, diagnostics and follow-up appointments.
· Maintain waiting lists and support capacity utilisation.
· Process cancellations and reschedule appointments efficiently.
· Promote online booking where appropriate.
Procedure Scheduling
· Coordinate inpatient, day-case and ambulatory procedures.
· Ensure all required documentation and investigations are complete before admission.
· Coordinate pre-assessment requirements.
· Assist in maximising theatre utilisation.
Patient Services
· Respond to patient enquiries via various channels
· Resolve patient queries promptly and professionally.
· Escalate complex issues appropriately.
· Record all patient interactions accurately within hospital systems.
Administration
· Maintain accurate electronic patient records.
· Complete all required documentation.
· Process referrals and supporting clinical information.
· Scan clinical notes
· Support reporting and administrative projects.
Additional Information:
· Garda vetting will be required.
· Full training will be provided.
