Location: National Role focusing on Eastern seaboard Ireland, with a particular emphasis on Dublin area

The Opportunity
We are looking for another high-performing, target-driven Business Development Manager to accelerate sales growth and expand our market share across Ireland.
This is a purely commercial, front-line sales role suited to someone who thrives on winning new business, growing key accounts, and delivering against ambitious targets. You will take ownership of a territory, driving revenue, increasing brand penetration, and ensuring Deanta remains the partner of choice across the industry.
This role requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the construction, building materials, hardware, or a closely related sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Revenue & Win New Business
- Deliver and exceed aggressive sales and margin targets.
- Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities across Ireland.
- Build and maintain a strong, active sales pipeline.
- Maximise revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and product range expansion.
- Execute structured, high-impact sales plans across your territory.
- Grow & Maximise Key Accounts
- Take ownership of a large portfolio of existing customers.
- Increase spend, and long-term value within accounts.
- Conduct regular, commercially focused account reviews.
- Maintain strong visibility with customers through consistent engagement and on-site visits.
- Be the Face of the Brand
- Represent Deanta in the market with energy, credibility, and professionalism.
- Drive brand presence across retail channels.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years’ proven sales experience within construction, building materials, hardware, or a related industry (essential).
- A consistent track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong hunter mentality with the ability to win new business and close deals.
- Commercially astute with a sharp focus on margin and profitability.
- Experience managing and growing a large customer base.
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly self-motivated, competitive, and results focused.
- Strong planning, reporting, and pipeline management skills.
- Full clean driving licence.
