Job Title: Health Care Assistant (Full Time & Part Time)
Location: Greystones, Co. Wicklow (covering Greystones, Kilcoole, Newtownmountkennedy, Newcastle, Kilmacanogue, and Windgates)
PAY: €16.49–€32.98 per hour
(€16.49/hr Monday–Saturday, €24.74/hr Sundays, €32.98/hr Bank Holidays)
Plus mileage at 35c/km and paid travel time between visits

Greystones Home Help Service (GHHS) is a non profit, HIQA registered home care provider based in Greystones, Co. Wicklow. We support people to live safely and independently in their own homes across North Wicklow. We operate an open door policy and are committed to providing a genuinely supportive working environment for all our staff.
The Role
We are looking for compassionate, reliable Health Care Assistants to join our team. As a Health Care Assistant, you will support clients with daily living so they can remain independent and comfortable in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care
- Meal preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Medication prompts
- Companionship and emotional support
- Assistance with mobility
Requirements
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support is an advantage, but not essential, full training is provided for candidates who do not yet hold this qualification
- People Moving and Handling certification (training provided if not already held)
- Full clean driving licence and access to a car, due to the geographic spread of our client base
- Good communication skills and a genuine interest in caring for others
- Willingness to complete Garda vetting (renewed every 3 years)
