About the Role
Brosnan Property Solutions Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our team based in Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork.
This is a hands-on role involving a mix of reactive maintenance, repair works, refurbishment projects, and general property upgrades across both residential and commercial properties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing carpentry and general maintenance works to a high standard, while maintaining a professional, respectful, and customer-focused approach when working on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general property repairs and maintenance works
- Complete first and second fix carpentry works
- Repair, adjust, and replace doors, windows, frames, locks, hinges, and associated ironmongery
- Install stud partitions, plasterboard/slabbing, timber trims, skirting, architraves, and general joinery
- Assist with refurbishment, renovation, and property upgrade projects
- Carry out minor general maintenance works where required
- Work across residential and commercial properties
- Communicate professionally with clients, tenants, property managers, and office staff
- Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Maintain good timekeeping, reliability, and accurate communication regarding job progress
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in carpentry or a similar maintenance role
- Valid Safe Pass certification
- Valid Manual Handling certification
- Full clean Irish driving licence
- Strong practical skills and good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving skills and a flexible approach to work
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be authorised to work in Ireland
