Employment Terms
This role is employed by Ardrar Ltd, which operates under separate terms and conditions to Bord Gáis Energy. Together we’re helping homes, farms and businesses cut costs, reduce emissions, and transition to cleaner energy.
The Role
Ardrar Ltd, trading as Bord Gáis Energy, and part of the Centrica Group, is seeking a Grants Administrator to support the next phase of transformation as we accelerate our transition to a more sustainable energy future.
What you’ll be doing
As a Grants Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their energy grants efficiently and professionally. You’ll work closely with customers, installation crews, BER Assessors, government bodies, and internal stakeholders to manage domestic, commercial, and agricultural grant applications.
Key Accountabilities:
- Liaise with a nationwide network of BER Assessors to ensure timely completion of assessments and paperwork.
- Schedule BER assessments with customers.
- Upload grant documentation to government portals.
- Respond to customer queries and provide updates on application status.
- Ensure installation crews submit required documentation promptly.
- Handle queries from government bodies such as SEAI and the Department of Agriculture.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (Experience with SEAI Grants is an advantage).
- Meticulously organised with a proactive attitude.
- A self-starter who works well independently.
- Results-oriented and capable of meeting KPIs.
- A confident communicator who builds strong working relationships.
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- Interested in renewable energy and sustainability.
- Experience in the energy or construction sector is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literate and comfortable with online platforms
