About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Night Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety while supporting the chefs and ensuring the kitchen is fully prepared for the following day's service.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise all kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, pans, and work areas.
- Carry out scheduled deep cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment.
- Ensure all floors, walls, storage areas, and food preparation areas are maintained to a high standard.
- Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with hotel procedures.
- Restock cleaning materials and report any maintenance or equipment issues.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required.
- Follow HACCP, food safety, health and safety, and hotel policies at all times.
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised, and ready for the morning shift.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From €14.60 per hour
