About the Role:
Our client is a leading Irish manufacturer and supplier of concrete and construction products. They are currently seeking an experienced CE (Artic) HGV Driver to join their transport team in Tullamore.
This role involves delivering concrete pipes, concrete roof tiles, plastic pipes and other construction materials to customers and construction sites across Ireland using an articulated vehicle.
This is a day work position, Monday to Friday, making it an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for a great work-life balance. Double time is paid for early starts. The role would suit someone with 1+ years of CE driving experience who is safety-conscious, reliable and enjoys working as part of a professional transport team.
Main Duties:
- Deliver products safely and on time to customers and construction sites throughout Ireland.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
- Comply with Driver CPC, tachograph and drivers' hours regulations.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and site rules.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well maintained.
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
Requirements:
- Full CE (Artic) HGV Licence.
- Minimum 1+ years' CE driving experience.
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good driving record and commitment to safe driving.
- Good knowledge of Irish roads and transport regulations.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
