Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.
- Administer medications safely in accordance with NMBI guidelines and nursing home policies.
- Monitor residents' physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent resident outcomes.
- Supervise and support Healthcare Assistants and other care staff.
- Participate in admissions, care reviews and discharge planning.
- Promote residents' dignity, privacy, independence and rights at all times.
- Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, company policies and best nursing practice.
- Participate in training, clinical governance activities and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Previous experience in elderly care or nursing home setting is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, caring and resident-focused approach.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Pay: €40,000.00-€43,000.00 per year
