Job Summary:
We are hiring a reliable, hands-on Floor Fitter / Delivery & Installation Operative to join our luxury furniture retail team. This varied role combines careful delivery, skilled fitting, and friendly customer service in clients’ homes. You will work with quality furniture and flooring products, receive support and training where needed, and help ensure every installation is completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load, transport, and deliver high-value goods to customers’ homes
- Install and fit flooring products (e.g., L.V.T, laminate, vinyl, carpet) to a high standard
- Prepare surfaces, measure spaces accurately, and ensure precise fitting
- Handle and assemble luxury products with care to avoid damage
- Provide a professional, courteous, and discreet service during all customer interactions
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment on-site and upon completion
- Troubleshoot and resolve fitting or installation issues as they arise
- Conduct final inspections to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
- Complete delivery and installation documentation accurately
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including manual handling practices
Skills and Qualifications:
· Practical experience in floor fitting, delivery, logistics, or home installation work is welcome, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
· Strong practical skills, good attention to detail, and pride in achieving a high-quality finish
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Full, clean driving licence
- Basic problem-solving skills and ability to adapt on-site

Working Conditions:
· This is an active, hands-on role involving driving, safe manual handling, and on-site installation work. You will be supported to follow safe working practices and deliver each job to a high standard.
- Regular travel to customer locations
· Five-day working week, 40 hours per week, with availability required Monday to Saturday on a rota basis.
