We are currently recruiting for an experienced
Assistant Accommodation Manager to join our team.

The applicant should be a highly motivated individual with excellent experience. Working with the team in delivering superior guest care in the Kinsale Hotel and Spa.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Previous supervisory experience in a 4 star hotel, preferably in Accommodation
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- A proven track record of driving standards in a similar role
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- A working knowledge of computers
- A hands on approach
- Flexibility is key, across weekdays and weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping as per department SOP's.
- Work closely with the front office to ensure correct room status is communicated.
- Ensure all maintenance requests are communicated clearly to the Maintenance Team.
- Deal with all guest request in a professional and timely manner.
- Attend and actively contribute to scheduled meetings.
- Hold a daily pre-shift meeting with team prior to their reporting to stations and ensure training is conducted.
- Ensure that the office, linen room, floor storage rooms and trolleys are neatly maintained.
- Ensure rooms are checked to the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance is reported.
- Ensure that all checklists are being carried out by the linen porter, public area & night attendant.
- Relieve other accommodation employee areas as and when necessary
- Ensure team are aware of all relevant information pertaining to daily events, group functions, and guest activities.
- Enforce procedures for the acceptance, security and return on guest lost property.
- Conduct inventories of linen, supplies and equipment as required.
- Order and receive supplies so as to maintain adequate inventory levels
- Checking and maintaining of public areas and Reception
