Job Opportunity: Experienced Welder / Fabricator
Location: Clonmel, Tipperary
E.P.M Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our team. This role involves working on various projects, utilizing different welding techniques, including MIG and TIG. If you are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have a passion for welding and fabrication, we’d love to have you onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of welding tasks, focusing on MIG and TIG welding.
- Work with sheet metal and piping, fabricating complex plant components such as Tanks, Gantries, Platforms, and Process Piping Systems.
- Operate machinery and equipment such as Guillotines, Break Presses, and Band Saws as part of the fabrication process.
- Interpret technical drawings and work independently and collaboratively as needed.
- Ensure all work adheres to E.P.M Ltd's strict safety policies both in the workshop and while on-site for clients.
- Maintain and ensure equipment is in excellent working order.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding, with a strong skill set in working with stainless steel.
- Knowledge and experience in fabrication processes, including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must possess a valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and Abrasive Wheels Certification (additional training will be provided as necessary).
- High attention to safety protocols and procedures.
- Experience working with sheet metal, piping, and various fabrication equipment.
