Job Description:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Retail Security Officer to join our team at a leading department store in the Dooradoyle area of Limerick.
The Role:
As a Retail Security Officer you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff. You will be expected to deliver a professional and high standard of security service at all times in a busy retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrolling the store and monitoring for suspicious activity
- Preventing and detecting theft and anti-social behaviour
- Responding to incidents in a professional and calm manner
- Writing accurate incident reports
- Working closely with store management and staff
- Providing excellent customer service while maintaining security standards
- Operating CCTV where required
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar retail or department store security role in Ireland
- Experience gained outside of Ireland will not be considered
- Valid PSA licence essential
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and manner
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
