We are seeking motivated Housekeeper who enjoy working with people and passion for delivering excellent customer service to join our team in the Schull Harbour Hotel. The role of a Housekeeper at our hotel is to ensure that all guest rooms, corridors, front of house areas and toilets are kept clean and tidy at all times and to the high standard expected. To service guests’ rooms promptly and with the care and attention to detail required. To greet and assist all our guests in a friendly and cheerful manner
The ideal candidate for this position would possess:
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills
- Focus to be standards driven and detail-orientated
- The ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
- Flexibility with regards to working hours
- Fluent English
Key Responsibilities & Duties include:
- Clean guest rooms and apartments as assigned, ensuring the hotel´s established standards of cleanliness at all times
- Maintaining standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness in your assigned bedrooms, corridors and public areas
- Ensure stocks of bathroom and bedrooms items are replenished to correct standards
- To report any defects found in the bedroom, corridors or public areas to the supervisor or manager
- Ability to nurture a good working relationship with other departments, such as reception and maintenance
- Have the ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy and the completion of tasks
- Have the ability to adhere to correct instructions and safety precautions when using chemical cleaning products
- Be physically fit and able to perform your job
- Work well within a team and assist your colleagues when needed

Pay: €14.15-€14.30 per hour
