Abrel is an Electronic Manufacturing and Assembly company based in Raheen Business Park, Limerick. We are a wholly Irish owed Company which has been in operation for nearly 30 years supplying solutions to the electronic/automotive industry.
We have immediate opportunities for Soldering Assembly Operator’s. This is a full-time position Monday – Friday (day shift 39 hrs per week) with flexibility in start and finish time outside of core hours. Immediate start. Key responsibilities include PCB soldering and rework of SMT electronic component / Thru Hole Assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick components and prepare kits for manufacturing.
- Perform Visual inspection of SMT/Thru Hole Assemblies
- Cleaning of SMT /Thru Hole Assemblies.
- Complete basic soldering and rework of SMT/Thru Hole components.
- Responsible for tracking of jobs through the process.
- Product inspection to IPC Standards.
- Take responsibility for quality, quantity and inspection of work performed.
- Cleaning of SMT/Thru Hole assemblies as per procedure.
- Support shipping and logistics department.
Skills/Experience required:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years experience working in similar type role in Electronics Manufacturing environment.
- Trained in IPC 7711/7721 and IPC A610.
- Must be familiar with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) electronic components and SMT /Thru Hole assembly process.
- Must be familiar with and able to use hand tools, screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, etc.
- It would be an advantage to have knowledge of equipment including but not limited to:
Screen Printer, Glue Dispensing Machine, Pick and Place Machine, Reflow Oven, Wave Soldering and AOI technology machines.
- Ability to work to Quality Procedures/Work Instructions.
- Additional training will be provided.
- Applicants must be entitled to work within the EU and / or have the relevant working Visa.
- Applicants must be a confident English speaker
