Maurice Doody Sales is a long-established Limerick tool and industrial supply distributor, supplying trade and industry across the Midwest with brands including Milwaukee, DeWalt, Knipex, Wera and Klingspor.
We're looking for a reliable, hard-working Warehouse / Stores Operative to join our team. It would suit someone with an interest in tools, equipment or the trades who wants to build a career in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Receiving deliveries and checking products against paperwork
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Labelling and storing stock correctly
- Maintaining accurate stock records in our inventory system (training provided)
- Helping to track stock levels so the right items are always in place
- Reporting damaged or missing stock
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
What we're looking for
Essential:
- An interest in tools, hardware or trade equipment
- Organised, with good attention to detail
- Comfortable working on your feet and lifting stock (light to medium weight)
- Reliable, punctual and a good work ethic
- Comfortable using or willing to learn basic IT systems
- Works well with others and follows instructions
Desirable:
- Experience with tools, DIY, trades or technical equipment
- Previous work in retail, warehouse or stock handling
- Familiarity with inventory or stock systems
- Forklift licence, or willingness to train
