We are seeking a highly skilled, full-time Senior Barista to join our team at Honey Honey Cafe. You will craft exceptional specialty coffee, lead the daily floor operations, and help foster an inviting, fast-paced environment for our local customers. We are looking for an expert in coffee extraction and latte art who can mentor junior staff and maintain the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Beverage Excellence: Dial in espresso, adjust grind settings, and execute flawless latte art while maintaining strict recipe and brewing standards.
- Floor Leadership: Oversee the daily workflow, ensure lightning-fast ticket times, and manage the floor during peak hours.
- Team Mentorship: Train, mentor, and upskill junior baristas on espresso extraction, milk texturing, and customer service.
- Customer Connection: Deliver warm, personalized hospitality, guide guests through our menu, and resolve any customer concerns with grace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
- Inventory & Quality Control: Monitor bean, milk, and syrup stock levels, assist with weekly orders, and ensure product rotation.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of continuous experience in a high-volume specialty coffee environment.
- Skills: Advanced proficiency in espresso dialing-in, milk texturing, and executing latte art.
- Team player: work well with the wider team
- Work Ethic: Strong problem-solving skills, a calm demeanor under pressure, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible, full-time hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: €14.50 - €15.50 per hour (based on experience)
