The Role:
As a Solar PV Sales Executive, you will engage with prospective customers, understand their energy needs, and deliver consultative, solution-led sales of solar PV systems. You will work closely with technical and operations teams to ensure each solution is designed to maximise customer value and performance.
You will be responsible for managing the full sales journey from initial enquiry through to close, while delivering an excellent customer experience and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert qualified inbound warm leads into Solar PV sales through consultative selling.
- Conduct remote assessments of customer suitability (roof space, orientation, usage patterns, etc.)
- Deliver tailored solar energy solutions aligned to customer needs and financial benefits. Including solar quotes, return on investment.
- Issuing invoices and performing installation follow up and customer satisfaction surveys.
- Interface with the marketing department, providing material for various marketing platforms.
- Collaborate with assessment and operations teams to ensure accurate system design and delivery.
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and opportunities within CRM systems.
- Provide market feedback, customer insights, and competitor intelligence to support business growth.
- Stay up to date with developments in Solar PV, energy storage, and wider renewable technologies.
- Interface with the SEAI and complete solar SEAI grant paperwork to a high standard and in a timely manner.
- Office duties as required by senior staff members.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an office administration role (construction or engineering environment an advantage).
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, reliable, and discreet approach to confidential information.
