McParland Bros Builders Ltd are currently seeking a general working site foreman to join our team working on a large residential project in the Dundalk area, with a developer who has been operating for over 50 years.
Key Responsibilities / Requirements
- Liaise and communicate with design team, site manager and office staff
- Monitor safety and quality of trades and subcontractors
- Manage material requirements to suit programme
- Inspect and sign off subcontractor works when completed to a high standard
- Coordinate snagging crews and oversee effective completion of snag lists
- Maintain health & safety leading by example on site
- Excellent knowledge of trades
- Previous site experience in this role
- Knowledge of ground works, pipe laying & setting out
- Experience in AutoCAD preferable
Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a trade or engineering background with experience working on residential/commercial projects with a keen eye for detail and excellent knowledge of trades. You will be able to work on your own initiative and have the ability to manage trades and labour
