Job Purpose
To assist in the production of cartons producing finished product in accordance with ISO 9001 & PS9000 and the company’s best practice quality and safety procedures.
Job Responsibilities/Key accountabilities:

To comply with current systems of working including established shift patterns

To work as a team to achieve daily/weekly production targets working as part of a crew on the gluing assembly lines reporting to the machine operator

To achieve the highest possible quality standards working within the guidelines outlined in the established quality systems to achieve customer specification

Follow standard operating procedures and training to ensure product is fed, glued, inspected and packed
-
Quality check cartons whilst feeding these into the gluing machine

Quality check glued cartons whilst coming off gluing lines

Pack into correct corrugates per customer specification

Comply with sampling process as per customer request

Participate as part of a team to maximise machine efficiency

Participate in continuous learning and development to update skills and participate in improvement initiatives in production

To work flexibly across all the finishing departments
Health and safety

To work in a safe manner adhering to laid down health and safety procedures.

To report all accidents and dangerous occurrences and potential risks and ensure you behave in a way which minimizes risk to yourself and others
Maintenance

To assist in the maintenance of all machinery and equipment in line with established planned maintenance programs

To keep work area clean tidy ensuring that the highest standards of housekeeping and hygiene are always maintained.
