Energywise Ireland is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Retrofit General Operative with to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in executing construction and retrofit projects, contributing to the overall success and quality of our endeavours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the construction team to support various aspects of the project.
- Assist in the installation of retrofit components and materials.
- Ensure that work meets the required standards of quality and craftsmanship.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any safety concerns promptly to the relevant authorities.
- Work efficiently to meet project timelines and contribute to overall project productivity.
- Handle and transport materials related to overall works in a safe and organized manner.
- Collaborate with other team members and trades to ensure smooth project progression.
- Properly use and maintain tools and equipment
- Ensure the site/s are maintained to a high standard.
- Assist with site security and that all materials are stored safely during out of hours or site closures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Demonstrated experience within the construction or retrofit industry.
- Basic knowledge and skills in other construction-related tasks.
- Prioritize safety in all tasks and activities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Capable of performing tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail to achieve high-quality finishes.
- CSCS Cards – an advantage but not necessary
- Full Drivers Licence
- Safe Pass
- Manual Handling
- Working at heights –an advantage but not necessary
- Abrasive wheel
