Key Responsibilities

Lead onsite and remote IT support during the go-live period of the warehouse opening.

Oversee and maintain Windows, Active Directory, and Azure AD environments, ensuring security best practices are followed.

Manage device setup, patching, and software deployment using SCCM, InTune, and Auto Patch.

Respond rapidly to incidents and service requests, prioritising security and operational continuity.

Monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities, working closely with security operations teams.

Document IT infrastructure, changes, incident resolutions, and security actions.

Collaborate with warehouse staff, the wider IT and security teams and vendors to resolve technical and security issues.

Support business continuity and disaster recovery testing for warehouse systems.

Automate operational and security tasks using PowerShell scripts.

Participate in security incident response and contribute to continuous improvement of security posture.
Required Skills & Experience
-
Extensive experience supporting and securing Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and Azure AD environments.

Strong background in patch management, device compliance (SCCM, InTune), and endpoint security.

Demonstrated experience in IT security operations, including vulnerability management and incident response.

Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills in high-pressure environments.

Effective communicator, able to work collaboratively with technical, non-technical, and security stakeholders.

Experience with warehouse, logistics, or large-scale operational IT environments is a plus.

Advanced PowerShell scripting ability.

Experience with security tools such as Qualys, Defender, or similar platforms.
Qualifications
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior IT operations/support or security operations role.

Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Relevant Microsoft and/or security certifications are an advantage.

Pharma – On Demand
The On-Demand business is a specialist medical supply business that sources and distributes pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and consumable supplies to healthcare professionals in over 160 countries worldwide. We have offices in Ireland, UK, Europe, USA and New Zealand. The company’s main divisions encompass everything from International Sales through Sales to NGO’s and Charities, Clinical Trials Supply, Imported (Unlicensed Medicines), Sexual Health Supplies, and the storage and distribution of medical products and devices for third parties.
