Sensori is looking for an experienced Electrical Chargehand to take on a key leadership role within our Projects team in Dublin. The Role
As Electrical Chargehand, you'll take day-to-day ownership of your team's performance on site - balancing hands-on electrical work with supervision, planning, and coordination. You'll report into the Project Manager and work closely with the wider project team to keep works running safely, efficiently, and on programme.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Supervise, coordinate, and motivate a team of 10+ electricians and apprentices - setting the standard for quality, safety, and professionalism on site

Carry out and oversee all electrical installation works, ensuring compliance with ETCI National Rules (I.S. 10101) and all relevant Irish regulations

Complete electrical takeoffs and material forecasting, coordinating with procurement to ensure your team has what they need, when they need it

Plan and allocate labour and resources for upcoming site activities - staying ahead of the programme and flagging risks early

Drive on-site productivity and performance, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and to Sensori's quality standards

Read, interpret, and work to electrical drawings, schematics, and project specifications

Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout the works, ensuring all installations meet design intent and regulatory requirements

Prepare, review, and implement RAMS and SPAs - promoting a strong safety culture across your team at all times

Liaise with the Project Manager, other trades, and client representatives to ensure smooth coordination and excellent service delivery

Ensure correct PPE is worn, the site is maintained in a safe and tidy condition, and waste is disposed of correctly

Quickly identify and resolve on-site issues, escalating where needed to keep the project on track
What You'll Bring
Essential:
-
Electrical trade qualification (QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate or equivalent)

Minimum 3 years' experience in a chargehand, lead electrician, or similar supervisory role

Proven track record of delivering electrical works on medium to large commercial construction projects

Solid understanding of ETCI National Rules, QHSE requirements, and Irish construction regulations

Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificate

Highly organised with excellent time management and the ability to plan ahead under programme pressure

Confident reading and working from electrical drawings and technical specifications

IT proficient - comfortable using digital tools for reporting, scheduling, and documentation
Desirable:

Experience working on data centre, pharmaceutical, or other technically demanding project environments

Familiarity with RECI/Safe Electric compliance requirements for controlled works

First Aid or additional H&S qualifications
