Service Advisor
Location: South Dublin
Shifts: Monday to Friday (7am–4pm or 2pm–11pm)
Annual Leave: 21 days + public holidays
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: €45,000 - €52,000 per year (depending on experience)

Role Overview:
As a Service Advisor, you will be the key liaison between our customers and the workshop team. You’ll ensure a smooth and professional experience from booking to vehicle handover, providing technical guidance and clear communication throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Communication:
- Act as the first point of contact for service inquiries.
- Maintain proactive communication with customers, including county council fleet managers and leasing company representatives.
- Provide clear explanations of work required and associated costs.
- Technical Support:
- Translate customer concerns into technical instructions for technicians.
- Offer basic technical advice and support to customers where appropriate.
- Job Coordination:
- Schedule and allocate jobs based on technician availability and skillset.
- Monitor progress to ensure timely completion of work.
- Quality Assurance:
- Assist in final checks and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle post-service follow-ups and resolve any issues.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate service records and job cards.
- Use workshop management software to track jobs and update customer details.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with Workshop Foreman and Technicians.
- Support training initiatives and promote best practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical or service advisory role (post-apprenticeship or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of commercial vehicle systems and repair processes.
- Experience working with public sector or fleet clients is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Computer literate with experience using workshop management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Pay: €45,000.00-€52,000.00 per year
