We are looking for a hardworking and reliable baker to prepare and bake breads, scones, baked goods, and desserts for in our busy café in Ennis. Our family business has been running for 40 years, providing many food products and services, of which baking is a cornerstone. Whether it's our brown scones, apple tarts or bakewells, we pride ourselves on quality and taste.
The ideal candidate has experience in kitchens and bakeries, works efficiently, and enjoys the creativity of creating and decorating desserts. Also good communication skills to work with kitchen and front of house staff. This person will be required to keep the bakery section clean and organised, and manage ingredient stock.
This role requires physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy ingredients. It is part of a busy kitchen environment.
Working hours typically range from 30-40 hours a week, Tuesday to Saturday, starting at 7am daily.
Pay is dependent on experience
Pay: €16.00-€19.00 per hour
