Key responsibilities:
Invoice Processing
-
Receive, review, and process supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner.

Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation where required.

Verify coding and approvals in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Resolve invoice discrepancies and follow up on missing approvals.
Supplier Account Management

Maintain and update supplier records, including contact and banking information.

Respond to supplier queries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.

Reconcile supplier statements and investigate outstanding items.

Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
Payment Processing

Assist with the preparation and execution of weekly and monthly payment runs.

Ensure payments are processed accurately and within agreed payment terms.

Monitor accounts payable balances and identify overdue invoices for resolution.

Support the management of employee expense claims where applicable.
Financial Administration
-
Maintain accurate accounts payable records and filing systems.
-
Assist with month-end activities, including accruals and reconciliation tasks.

Prepare reports and supporting documentation for audits and financial reviews.

Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and Irish VAT requirements.
About You:

Previous experience in an Accounts Payable, Finance Administration, or Bookkeeping role.

Strong administrative and data-entry skills with a high level of accuracy.

Good understanding of basic accounting principles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Experience using accounting or ERP systems.

Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
