Main purpose of the Job:
To provide a warm and personal welcome to all guests.
To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the reception department with the emphasis on customer care and service.
To ensure that all accounts balance before completing a shift.
Main Duties:
To ensure that all guests are welcomed to the Hotel with a friendly smile and in an efficient and professional manner.
To ensure that all guests’ queries and requests are dealt with efficiently and quickly.
To ensure that guests are never ignored while you are answering the phone or dealing with another guest. Always acknowledge them with a smile and let them know they will be dealt with as soon as possible.
To answer the phone in a warm and welcoming manner and transfer all calls to the correct extension.
To provide all services as requested by our guests, i.e. wakeup calls, porter service, room service etc
To check-in and checkout guests efficiently and ensure that all bills are correct.
To take and input reservations in a timely manner
