About the Role
Brosnan Property Solutions Ltd. is currently seeking an experienced Carpenter / Roofer to join our growing facilities management and property maintenance team.
We provide reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, repair works, and refurbishment services across residential, commercial, and social housing properties throughout Munster.
This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role suited to an experienced Carpenter / Roofer with a strong background in property maintenance, roofing repairs, and general refurbishment works. The successful candidate will be expected to complete works safely, efficiently, and to a high standard while maintaining a professional approach on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out roofing repairs and general roof maintenance works
- Complete chimney repairs, leadwork, flashing repairs, and associated roofing works
- Replace tiles, slates, ridges, gutters, and other roof components where required
- Complete first fix and second fix carpentry works
- Assist with refurbishment and renovation projects
- Install stud framing, drylining/slabbing, timber trims, skirting, architraves, and general joinery
- Identify maintenance issues and complete repairs safely and efficiently
- Work across residential, commercial, and social housing properties
- Communicate professionally with clients, tenants, suppliers, property managers, and office staff
- Ensure all health and safety requirements are followed on site
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe
- Ensure all works are completed to a high standard
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in carpentry, roofing, or property maintenance
- Valid Safe Pass certification
- Valid Manual Handling certification
- Full clean driving licence
- Strong attention to detail
- Good practical and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional manner when dealing with clients, tenants, and colleagues
- Must be authorised to work in Ireland
Desirable
- MEWP certification
- Own tools
- Good spoken English
- Previous experience in social housing, facilities management, or reactive maintenance
