The Role
The successful candidate will join the Savills Research team in Dublin.
The role offers exposure to high-profile client work and the opportunity to contribute to market-leading research shaping investment, occupier and development decisions across Ireland.
This role requires a strong blend of analytical capability and written communication skills. Key responsibilities include macroeconomic analysis, commercial real estate market research, report production, and supporting both internal teams and external clients with data-driven insights.
The role involves close collaboration with the research team, brokerage divisions, and clients across multiple sectors, including investment, offices, logistics, retail, residential (including PRS and new homes), hotels, property management, and development land.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research and analysis of Ireland’s commercial real estate market
Analyse macroeconomic trends and assess their implications for property markets
Collect, manage, and interrogate both public and internal data sources
Support the production of research reports, presentations, and client deliverables
Provide insights and market intelligence to transactional teams across the business
Develop clear, evidence-based insights and communicate them effectively to internal and external stakeholders
Build a strong understanding of economic, financial, and real estate market dynamics (both domestic and global)
Contribute to client presentations and actively develop presentation skills
Collaborate with the wider global research and strategy network
Proactively develop technical and analytical skills, including the application of AI and emerging tools to improve efficiency and output quality
Build and maintain internal and external professional networks
Experience & Qualifications
Graduate or up to 2 years’ relevant experience
Degree in economics, finance, real estate, or a related field
Postgraduate qualifications or further professional development are advantageous
Technical Competencies
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to analyse complex datasets and translate them into clear, actionable insights
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools is advantageous but not essential
Econometrics knowledge is a plus
