Role Summary
JAMELLJEF LIMITED is seeking an experienced Renovation & Fit-Out Site Project Manager to coordinate and supervise renovation, flooring installation and interior fit-out works across residential and commercial projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for site-based project delivery, including site surveys, measurements, work sequencing, labour and material planning, subcontractor coordination, installation supervision, quality control, snagging management, health and safety compliance and project handover support.
This is a practical, site-focused construction and renovation project-management role. The employee will work closely with the Company Director, showroom team, flooring installers, subcontractors, suppliers, delivery teams and clients to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule and to the required standard.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Renovation & Fit-Out Site Project Manager will:
1. Coordinate and supervise residential and commercial renovation, flooring installation and interior fit-out projects from site preparation through to final handover.
2. Attend project sites to carry out surveys, inspect site conditions, take measurements and identify practical construction or installation issues before works commence.
3. Check floor levels, substrate condition, moisture concerns, access restrictions, wall and floor junctions, door thresholds, stairs, skirting areas and other site conditions affecting renovation or flooring installation.
4. Review drawings, site measurements, product specifications, installation requirements and project documentation to confirm the agreed scope of works.
5. Prepare practical work schedules, site coordination plans, labour allocation plans and material-delivery arrangements.
6. Coordinate daily site activities with flooring installers, subcontractors, suppliers, delivery teams and internal management.
7. Supervise flooring installation, refurbishment works and fit-out activities to ensure compliance with agreed specifications, installation methods, quality standards and project timelines.
8. Check that materials delivered to site are correct, undamaged and suitable for the relevant project, including flooring, underlays, adhesives, trims, accessories and other renovation materials.
9. Monitor material usage, labour time, subcontractor performance and site progress to support cost control and efficient project delivery.
10. Carry out quality inspections during and after works to identify defects, incomplete works, installation issues and snagging items.
11. Prepare and maintain snag lists, site notes, measurement records, delivery records, photographs, variation records, progress reports and completion reports.
12. Ensure that installers and subcontractors comply with safe working practices, site rules, company procedures and applicable health and safety requirements.
13. Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal management regarding project progress, site access, material deliveries, variations and completion arrangements.
14. Support final inspections, completion checks, client handover and the timely resolution of outstanding snagging items.
15. Review completed projects to identify improvements in site workflow, installation quality, supplier performance, cost control, snagging management and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate should have:
1. A qualification in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, building engineering, project management or a closely related discipline.
2. At least three years of relevant experience in renovation, fit-out coordination, construction project management, site supervision or building works management.
3. Practical experience coordinating trades, subcontractors, installers, suppliers, delivery teams and internal management.
4. The ability to review drawings, measurements, specifications, site conditions and project requirements.
5. Knowledge of work sequencing, material planning, procurement coordination, delivery arrangements and cost control.
6. Experience carrying out site inspections, quality checks and snagging management.
7. The ability to identify practical construction and installation issues and coordinate suitable solutions.
8. Knowledge of health and safety requirements applicable to construction and renovation sites.
Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to support JAMELLJEF LIMITED’s continued expansion in renovation, flooring and interior fit-out project delivery by strengthening its site-based project-management capacity.
As the company handles increasing demand for residential and commercial flooring installation, home improvement and renovation services, a dedicated Renovation & Fit-Out Site Project Manager is required to coordinate site works, supervise subcontractors, manage materials, control quality, reduce defects and support timely project completion.
The role is central to the company’s plan to improve practical site delivery and provide high-quality renovation and fit-out services throughout Dublin and surrounding areas.
Salary and Working Conditions
· Gross annual salary: €48,000
· Hours of work: 39 hours per week
· Employment type: Permanent, full-time
· Salary payable monthly, subject to statutory deductions
· Work is primarily site-based and performed in person
· Travel between company showrooms, client properties, supplier premises and project sites in Dublin and surrounding areas may be required
