About the Role
Inishbofin House Hotel is seeking a reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable and welcoming stay by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest bedrooms, bathrooms and corridors to a consistently high standard.
- Change bed linen, replenish towels and restock guest amenities.
- Vacuum, dust, polish and mop guest rooms and public areas.
- Ensure all public areas, including reception, lounges, stairways and guest toilets, are clean and well presented throughout the day.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages or lost property to management promptly.
- Replenish housekeeping supplies and maintain housekeeping trolleys and linen stores.
- Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures, ensuring the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with laundry duties when required.
- Work efficiently to ensure guest rooms are ready for check-in on time.
- Deliver friendly, courteous service to guests and assist with reasonable guest requests where possible.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across all departments to ensure a smooth operation.
- Carry out any additional housekeeping duties as requested by management.
What We're Looking For

- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Reliable, punctual and flexible, including availability to work weekends and public holidays.
- Previous housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Pay: €14.15-€15.00 per hour
